Virgilio Fino

Virgilio Fino is a songwriter and music photographer based in London, UK and Lisbon, Portugal. He is an Internet Technology specialist and founder of the international music networking website UseYourEars.com.

From an early age the bilingual Virgilio was surrounded by a diverse collection of Portuguese artists, such as Fernando Tordo, Carlos do Carmo, Tonicha, Simone de Oliveira, Jose Calvário due to his grandparents’ involvement with “Casa de Portugal”, an organisation representing Portuguese culture and music in the UK.

A colourful and varied career working within Price Waterhouse Coopers and the premium rate industry eventually led to the creation of his own technology consultancy business, which counts celebrities, Lords, Sirs and executives amongst its clientele.

However, it is producing music that has consistently remained his lifelong passion, as a talented musician (guitar, piano, drums), songwriter and lyricist. Along with his growing library of more than 30,000 music photos, he has recently contributed to the album “Venice” by Portuguese band “Fingertips”.

Described as a “music impresario” by the London press for his artist showcase events, Virgilio counts Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Santana and Donovan amongst his favourite musical influences. Many years of backstage networking have given him access to a myriad of well-known artists, including Pink Floyd, Sting, Donovan, Chris Cornell (Audioslave/Soundgarden), Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin), Paul Rodgers (Free/Queen), Elton John, Mick Taylor (Rolling Stones), and even Janie Hendrix, sister of beloved Jimi.
